Immunity Testing
During these tests, the product is exposed to electromagnetic disturbances originating both from the power supply network (conducted immunity) and from the surrounding environment (radiated immunity). The purpose is to assess whether the product maintains its functionality and expected performance when subjected to such disturbances.

Emissions Testing
These tests are intended to verify whether the product introduces disturbances into the electrical power network (conducted emissions) or into the surrounding environment (radiated emissions), ensuring that emission levels remain within the limits established by the applicable standards.
Directive 2014/30/EU of 26 February 2014, issued by the European Parliament and the Council, harmonizes electromagnetic compatibility legislation throughout the European Union, establishing common requirements for electronic equipment.
In Italy, the Directive was implemented through Legislative Decree No. 80 of 18 May 2016, aligning national legislation with European requirements.
